1st PUC & 2nd PUC Result 2020, Karnataka

The Department of Pre University Education, Karnataka has declared the Karnataka PUE Results 2020 for 2nd Year students who have appeared for the board exams on the official website karresults.nic.in.
As a precaution to Covid-19 outbreak, the results will not be put on their notice boards, as the students visiting the campuses to access the results need to be avoided.
Earlier the Karnataka PUC 1 results were to be declared on March 27, 2020, which got postponed due to coronavirus lockdown implemented in the state. The HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhariyal Nishank had held a meeting with all education heads of the states and asked them to resume the evaluation process of the board answer copies of the respective states.
The colleges will be starting the online sessions for the students who qualify the PU exams after the declaration of the results. As per UGC guidelines, the new sessions would commence from September 2020.

How to Check PUC Results 2020 by Roll Number or by School Name

The Karnataka PUE Results are declared online on the official websites. It will be available on  www. karresults.nic.in. result.bspucpa.com.,  Students can check online Karnataka PUC Results 2020 by following the simple steps listed below:
Step 1: Visit the official exam result portal i.e. karresults.nic.in
Step 2: Find link for PUC Result 2020 Karnataka Board
Step 3: You will be redirected to new page with input fields
Step 4: Provide the details asked on the page i.e. registration number/password
Step 5: Verify and Submit the details on the website
Step 6 Your Karnataka PUE Results 2020 will be displayed on the screen
Step 7: Download the scorecard / take a printout for future reference

The results would be available offline too this time in contrast to being uploaded on the official website and college notice boards. It would be sent through SMS on the registered mobile phones of the students
Karnataka PUC Result 2020 – Rechecking & Re-evaluation
For those students who are not satisfied with the 2nd PUC Result 2020 announced by the Karnataka Board, the department will provide an option to help them improve their marks. This is done through the rechecking and re-evaluation option available.
Through the rechecking option, students who feel that they had performed better in the Board Exams as compared to the scores awarded to them, can opt to get their answer sheets rechecked by an independent evaluator. During the rechecking process, the evaluator will check if all the answers provided by the student are checked or not and there is any totaling mistake while compilation of marks for the preparation of the final scorecard. Apart from rechecking, students can also avail of the option of re-evaluation under which the board will get the complete answer book re-evaluated by an independent examiner, who will assess all the answers a fresh and award marks accordingly.
Students will have to pay a nominal amount of fee or basic charges per subject to avail the option of rechecking and re-evaluation of answer sheets.
When supplementary exams to be conducted?

For those students, who could not clear their exams, supplementary tests will be held. This year, the exam date is yet to be announced.

Karnataka PUC Compartmental Results 2020

This time the students who fail the first Pre University Test will be allowed a second chance through a supplementary exam. The candidates can re-appear in the exam that will be held only at the college level.
Some students miss out on clearing the exam in only one or two subjects. Moreover, a few students even fail due to 1 or 2 marks only. Such students are provided another chance to qualify in the Karnataka 12th Board Exam by the PUE Department through Compartmental / Supplementary Exams. The Karnataka PUC Compartmental Results are declared by the Karnataka Board in one of two weeks after completion of the board exams.

The Department of Pre-University, Government of Karnataka is a regulatory body that manages and looks after the higher secondary education in the state. The department operates under the Department of Primary and Secondary Education of the state government and is entrusted the responsibility to develop higher education in Karnataka. The PUE Department, Karnataka also conducts the annual Karnataka 2nd PU Board Exam in the state.

Karnataka 1st PUC Results 2020 LIVE Updates: The Department of Pre University Education, Karnataka has declared the result for the 1st  PUC examination of 2020 on  May 5, 2020. The candidates of puc 1st  can check their results at online portal of  SuVidya. The results are also available at result.bspucpa.com
Apart from the online portal- SuVidya, the students will get the results via mail or SMS.
As reported by the indianexpress.com earlier, the result will be sent to students directly. The results will be sent directly to students. Hence, colleges will not be displaying the results,” said S Suresh Kumar, Primary and Secondary Education Minister.
Over 6.53 lakh (6,53,461) candidates have appeared for the exams of which over 2 lakh (2,00,801) are from arts, 2.48 lakh from commerce, and 2.04 lakh from science.
Those who clear PUC I will be promoted to PUC II or class 12. The next session for these students is expected to begin by August while fresh admissions and sessions will begin from September. Earlier, these sessions start by July.

Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) formed in the year 1966, has been conducting SSLC (PUC) and other examinations. Every year the student strength is increasing tremendously.
Every year in April about 8.50 Lakhs & in June 1.50 Lakhs students are appearing for the SSLC examinations.
The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) has decided to improve the evaluation system and the results has set up divisional offices of the Board. This decentralization caters to the need of the student's needs at their proximity. The board is now providing Admission Tickets with student photographs and a major breakthrough in this venture is the photos being used in the repeaters Admission Tickets also.
The board has ventured to conduct the supplementary examination for the failed candidates of the examination of March in June month of every year itself; this will enable the students who would be successful in the June examination to join higher education courses in the same academic year from July itself. This process was introduced for the first time in the country.
