What is JHARKHAND Public Service Commission (JPSC)?
The
state of Jharkhand came into existence after bifurcating 18 districts from the
State of Bihar in the year 2000. The JHARKHAND Public Service Commission was
constituted under the provisions of Article 315 of the Constitution of India by
the Governor of JHARKHAND. The main objective of the Jharkhand Public
Service Commission (JPSC) is to conduct a written competitive examination and
also the interviews for the selections of the candidates for any government
posts in the state.

JPSC Civil Service report
JPSC
Combined Civil Service Exam Interview 2016 was conducted from 24th onwards. As
per JPSC news reports, when the commission declared the result of JPSC, 5400
candidates successfully cleared Jharkhand Public Service Commission Combined
Civil Service Prelims exam. But a months later, Jharkhand Public Service
Commission released a freshly updated list of successful candidates and
declared that 6100 candidates cleared the Jharkhand Combined Civil Service
Prelims exam.
After
candidates filed a plea with Jharkhand High Court that rules concerning the reservation were flouted by the JPSC Commission, Jharkhand PSC had to be
postponedCombined Civil Service Mains exam. Jharkhand High Court accepted the
plea ordering the State Government to conduct an enquiry into the matter.
After
the enquiry by the committee fresh JPSC results for Prelims exam was announced
in which 34,634 candidates cleared the Jharkhand PSC Combined Civil Service
Prelims exam.
Jharkhand
PSC conducted the JPSC 6 Combined Civil Services Mains Exam in the year 2019Due
to ongoing High court cases.
JPSC result 2020
According
to the result released by JPSC, A total of 325 candidates have been successful
for 326 vacancies.Due to Controversies, the exam process extended for five
years. The JPSC 6th Prelims Result 2020 had to be revised thrice. Its main
examination took place and after the High Court orders, and then the interviews
were also conducted. The interview was conducted on the basis of the revised
result for the second time after the court order.
After
a long wait this year, JPSC has announced the results on 27th April,
2020 on the basis of interviews which were conducted from 24 February to 6
March 2020.

Due
